Vision and Mission Introduction
“If the ladder is not leaning against the right wall, every step we take just gets us to the wrong place faster.” Stephen Covey
This course is our most important starting point for your business. If you’re not feeling very clear within yourself at this moment in time, If you’re feeling a bit lost or disconnected from self, I recommend you go back and do the clarity workshop first.
This course will align you, the human, with your business. We’re going to connect your personal life and your values AND your business to create a really powerful engine that will support you through the inevitable challenges of running a business.
There’s a quote that’s been attributed to a few different people, but it essentially says that you don’t want to set your ladder up against a wall, climb all the way to the top, and then realise you’ve been climbing the wrong wall. Here, we’re using as much pre-thought and reflection as possible so that your ladder is leaning against the right wall for you, for your business and for your life.
This workshop is incredibly important. It becomes the framework for your product development, your branding, and your goal setting. It’s the essential ingredient for your business. This is the place I’d put most of your weight and time—making sure you really go through it and revisit it over time, always polishing and refining it.
“You may get to the very top of the ladder, and then find it has not been leaning against the right wall.”Allen Raine
“We may spend our whole life climbing the ladder of success, only to find when we get to the top that our ladder is leaning against the wrong wall” Thomas Merton
